Who we are.
This website is operated by klas. advisory, a division of Klas Construction Group Pty Ltd (ABN 95 659 064 436), Melbourne, Victoria. We respect the privacy of everyone who uses this site and are committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us.
Information we collect.
We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us. The enquiry form opens an email in your own mail application, so the details you send (your name, company, sector and message) reach us as ordinary email. This site has no user accounts, no ordering or payment functions and no newsletter, and we do not collect payment information. Our hosting provider may record standard technical information such as browser type, IP address and referring URL in its server logs for security and performance purposes.
How we use information.
Information you send us is used to respond to your enquiry, to deliver our services where an engagement follows, and to maintain our business records. We do not sell, trade or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver our services or where required by law.
Cookies.
This site does not set cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics, and it has no login or comment functions that would store cookies. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
Links to other websites.
This site may contain links to third party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Browsing any other website is subject to that website's own terms and policies.
Security.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Correspondence is held in our email and business systems, which are protected by access controls. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and email in particular travels on the terms of your email provider.
Storage and retention.
Correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was provided, and in line with our legal and professional obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it for legal or administrative purposes.
